About the Collection Vibia Wireflow Chandelier
The LED suspensions Wireflow Chandelier by Vibia are a minimalistic reinterpretation of the classical chandelier. If the light heads feature a simple design, the cable routing is even more extravagant. The collection comprises six large pendants differing in terms of complexity. The design is signed by Arik Levy.
The Wireflow Chandelier pendant lights are distinguished by imposing dimensions and a filigree, versatile construction. Many of the lights require rooms with very high ceiling - large halls in public and gastronomic areas, foyers and stairwells.
The small light heads are made of shiny black aluminium. Their faceted sides subtly upgrade the overall plain shape. The LED light sources are located on the underside and are equipped with glass diffusers that direct the light downwards.
Each light head hangs from a long electrical cable. They do not hang simply straight downwards, but are put in extraordinary threedimensional shapes with the aid of slender, horizontal metallic rings. The metallic rings come also in black and are nearly as slender as the cables themselves so that both elements merge into a unity. Diverse diameters and shapes with four, six, eight and twelve corners result in multilayered, geometrical line patterns. Large volumes dominate the room without cluttering it.
Wireflow works with precise lines and ring-shaped arranged light sources. This mixture of complexity and minimalism results in a universal design that can be effortlessly integrated in modern architectures, but also in classical interiors.
The LEDs are characterized by a particularly warm white colour temperature of 2700K and a very good colour rendering and are the source of a welcoming, natural illumination, ideally suited for living rooms and the gastronomic area. On request, cooler colour temperatures are available to open up further fields of application.
