About the Collection Vibia Tempo
The LED lights Tempo by Vibia feature a minimalistic aesthetics with clear lines and harmonious proportions. The timelessly classical beauty of blown glass is at the centre and along with it a particular lighting effect produced by the charming interaction of transparency, translucency and opacity. The design is signed by the designers Lievore Altherr.
The collection comprises several suspensions and wall lamps with three different shades. Besides, the wall lamps are available with a short or long arm, the suspensions in two sizes each. All the models come in four elegant colours and are available for diverse dimming techniques.
The slender structures are made of steel, the diffusers of blown glass and the LED holder is made of aluminium. The design is devoid of superfluous, decorative details and relies instead on the shapes' clear lines and the materials' natural beauty. The wall structures feature right angles and are outstandingly slender. A taut wire ensures its stability. The electrical supply is made via an electrical cable that is connected to a wall socket in one version, and is fixedly connected in combination with a recessed driver in another version. The horizontal light arm is tiltable by 80 degrees in every direction.
Each of the three shade types plays in a different manner with the glass' particular qualities. The oval and diamond-shaped diffuser works with transparent details as a contrast to the prevalent white opaline glass. The third version has a small glass diffuser equipped with a plate-shaped reflector to guide the light downwards.
The integrated LEDs are characterized by a very good colour rendering and an especially warm white light colour. They spread a light that is very agreeable and perceived as natural. Above all, with the Tempo LED lights, the living room and the bedroom gain an atmospherical and needs-oriented light. Tempo shines also above tables in cafes or seating groups in the lounge.
