About the Collection Vibia Suite
The LED lighting system Suite by Vibia unites two essential functions: it is at the same time light source and storage area, and follows a clear and minimalist aesthetics. The collection was designed by Jordi Vilardell and Meritxell, comprises several floor lamps and wall lamps for various lighting effects, and comes in the cosy neutral colour dark brown and white.
The Suite lights have the appearance of small metallic shelves with fixedly integrated light bodies. It is possible to choose between an organically shaped glass diffuser for diffuse light all around and a classically shaped light fixture with vertical stem and tiltable shade for reading light. Depending on the model, additional LED ribbons for indirect illumination are integrated in the shelves' underside.
Some models enable to control both light modes separately. The two switches are conveniently within reach on the upper shelf's underside. The indirect light in the shelves can only be switched on and off, reading light and diffuser are also dimmable.
The shelves serve as storage areas for books, newpapers, cell phones and other items. The floor lamps have three or four shelves asymmetrically off-set on the vertical stem. Additionally, there is a USB charging socket in the upper shelf with which cell phones and other devices can be loaded.
The reading light comes not in the colour of the light structure but in a warm grey (Pantone 407C).
