About the Collection Vibia Skan
The Skan LED lights by Vibia feature a classical design, reinterpreted in a modern and minimalistic manner, reduced to the essential and equipped with a high-quality LED technology. The design is signed by the team Lievore Altherr Molina. The collection comprises several suspensions and a floor lamp.
All models have a flat light head of aluminium with a methacrylate diffuser in common. The suspensions are available as a small or large version and have each a very flat, slightly conical silhouette with high tip, connected with an elegant suspension. The light shines directly downwards and illuminates, for example, tables and counters. Next to the single lights, some available models have several shades arranged on a ceiling rose to effectively illuminate larger tables. The single lights are available as versions for recessed and surface mounting. They can be very flexibly integrated in demanding lighting projects and in rows or individual groups they spread a needs-oriented illumination. In addition, the Skan floor lamp serves as an uplighter. Its construction is a further development of Skan design. The light shades are strongly scaled down, the tips are protracted into filigree stems. Three such elements are put upside down and make a floor lamp with upwards directed light and gracefully-built structure with three legs.
While the floor lamp is available in red, black and white, the suspensions also come in warm red, green and beige hues. All the colours are selected so that they perfectly match and harmonize with many modern living styles. Without imposing themselves, they ornate the room with cosy accents.
Conveniently, the integrated LEDs ensure a particularly warm white light with very good colour rendering. Especially in the living room or above the dining table, a pleasant lighting situation is created in which the colour hues are presented near-natural.
