Vibia Rhythm Horizontal

Design by Arik Levy

About the Collection Vibia Rhythm Horizontal

The LED suspensions Rhythm Horizontal by Vibia can have the most different shapes and illuminate conference tables, long corridors and seating groups with atmospherical direct light. The collection comprises pendant lamps in three different lengths and two widths, available in two neutral colours. The design is signed by Arik Levy.

The light fixtures consist of 10 to 40 rods of polyamid, each equipped with LED ribbons and diffusers of polycarbonate. They are arranged next to each other as an horizontal grid, with a unique central rod as connecting piece, and discreetly suspended with thin cables. Each synthetic stem can be tilted individually so that soft waves, striking zigzag patterns, spirals and straight surfaces are created. The light is directed downwards where tables, couch corners or whole rooms are illuminated.

The extraordinary light bodies attract the attention when they are turned off. Like a suspended ceiling, they create a room in the room with an intimate atmosphere, set accents and structure the room according to personal concepts and in accordance with the prevalent aesthetics.

The integrated LEDs convince with an especially warm white light and a high colour rendering, also with a cosy and relaxing light, particularly welcomed in living rooms, in reception rooms, waiting rooms and in restaurants.

Rhythm Horizontal is a lighting system with minimalistic aesthetics that also takes on extravagant shapes with a strong impact if needed. The lamellae-like construction lends the light fixtures not only a great mobility, but also a light, gracefully built character. Instead of a dominant and stiff surface, the synthetic rods form a delicate whole that floats transparent and formable in the air.
