About the Collection Vibia Kontur
The LED light fixtures Kontur by Vibia lend the light an elegant frame. The high-quality materials and clear shapes turn the wall lamps and suspensions in the collection into universal light sources, suitable for many tasks and the most different surroundings. The design is signed by Sebastian Herkner.
All Kontur light fixtures have a slender, rectangular frame of black lacquered aluminium, in which the LEDs are integrated. It is combined with a blown opaline glass diffuser or with a convex aluminium reflector. Its clear shapes perfectly complement the rectangular frame and harmoniously adapt to the modern architecture and many elegant furnishing styles. The cylindrical glass diffuser spreads a diffuse general illumination, while the reflector generates concentrated light - two different lighting effects, enabling to create diversified lighting concepts. What is more, the Kontur collection comprises varied versions. Each light fixture is available in several lengths and equipped with various dimming technologies.
The LEDs used have a high colour rendering and an especially warm white colour temperature of 2700K, ensuring a very cosy illumination. The linear suspensions are suitable for illuminating dining tables, conference tables, working tables and counters, while the wall lamps emphasize a room's height and width, illuminate corridors and enhance walls. The 360 degrees, full-range illumination by the glass diffusers brightens whole rooms, while the steered light of metallic shades creates light islands and structures the room. Both shade versions achieve an even and glare-free light distribution.
