About the Collection Vibia Break Plus
The LED wall lamps Break Plus by Vibia harmoniously adapt to the existing architecture. With their clear shapes, warm colour hues and, above all, with atmospherical, high-quality LED light, they set extraordinary accents without dominating. The collection by the designer Xuclà is based on the Break light family, offers a versatile formal language, improved lighting technique and uses another material. Four different wall lamps with double or single emission, various asymmetrical shapes and four appealing colours make possible many ways of designing facades, walls and paths outdoors.
The light bodies are made of matt lacquered aluminium featuring a slightly grainy texture that upgrades the simple geometrical shapes. Each model has another shape, mostly cubic, yet also round and bent. The synthetic diffusers are concealed inside while their light passes smoothly through the opened upper and lower sides. Atmospherical light cones emerge on the wall and set beautiful accents while ensuring a welcomed brightness next to house entries and paths.
The LEDs have an especially warm white colour temperature of 2700K and a very good colour rendering. They produce an atmospherical, natural illumination with an agreeable effect on human beings and animals. The light distribution is diffuse, indirect and glare-free. There are soft light cones on the wall that in combination with the geometrical, asymmetrical edges of the metallic body draw extraordinary pattern on the walls.
All colours and shapes are selected so that they can be combined in harmony with each other and adapt to many facades' colours. Great liberties are given by the version "Primer". It is meant to be painted with any desired colour, for example with the exact colour hue of the house wall to produce a subtle, monochromatic effect.
Break Plus is a versatile tool for architectural designing of exterior facades in the private sector and in public exterior areas. Its large range of versions makes complex and creative lighting concepts consistent with a given architecture and desired lighting effects possible.
The light fixtures have an IP65 protection class, are dust-proof and protected against the penetration of water so that they can be used in unsheltered areas.
