About the Collection Vibia Big
The LED lights Big by Vibia appeal with very wide, flat diffusers and even, glare-free illumination. The collection by Lievore Altherr Molina includes suspensions and ceiling lamps in two sizes each. They come in discreet white or shiny chrome.
A slender ring of stainless steel frames the PMMA diffuser that occupies the whole underside of the light fixture and guides the light generously, evenly and glare-free downwards. The topping aluminium shade is tapered upwards and therefore cannot be seen from most perspectives, while the light fixture seems to be a single, very flat plate. The total height of the Big lights with 18 cm is agreeably small. The ceiling lamps feature a gap between ceiling and diffuser, seemingly floating in the room - an effect achieved by suspensions with a filigree, nearly invisible suspension system on three wires.
The very large-scale diffusers are best highlighted in high rooms. Open-plan offices, reception rooms and halls of every kind obtain a functional, bright illumination and can be structured needs-oriented. The suspensions visually lower the room ceilings and create a room in the room to illuminate receptions and conference tables with focus. The strong LED light with the light colour of 3000K and a very good colour rendering is especially suitable for working areas and conference tables in offices, but also for general illumination of darker rooms.
The different diffuser diameters enable individual combinations, adapted to personal ideas and architectural facts. Depending on the models, the light fixtures are compatible with different dimming and light control methods and enable to create demanding lighting concepts. With regard to style, the Big LED lights are entirely universal and are never out of place. Private flats and public rooms, minimalistic and opulent interiors are brightened without a break in style.
