About the Collection Oligo Balino

The LED suspensions Balino by Oligo have high-quality shades of crystal glass with a magical lighting effect. Each of the four glass versions has a character of its own, while the two possible metallic versions - in matt or shiny chrome - get further stimuli. The collection includes single lights and linear suspensions with one or three diffusers, optionally with invisible height-adjustment or with fixed height, but adjustable pendant distance. The design is signed by Ralf Keferstein.

The small light heads are composed of a metallic cap and a glass shade, forming a nearly perfect sphere together. The shade is open below so that the light shines mainly downwards. The glass shade is also translucent and spreads an atmospherical diffuse light in the room. The light heads in diamond grey, tobacco and gold feature a structure with crystal ice decor inside and create an especially effective light compared to the simple white satined version.

The Balino suspensions are ideally suitable for illuminating dining tables or kitchen islands, counters in kitchens and bars and small tables in cafes and living rooms. The integrated LEDs are characterized by a high colour rendering and a warm colour temperature of 2700K. The result is a cozy, welcoming light, representing the colour hues in a natural way and complementing the bright direct light with an atmospherical and pleasant background illumination.

With Casambi, the light heads can be controlled separately and dimmed continuously, or put together in groups and lighting scenarios. For this purpose, the gratis Casambi application and a compatible wall switch are necessary.
