The LED suspension NomNom Light by Moooi convinces with diffuse light and a clear aesthetics that expresses an especially cheerful minimalism. The design is signed by Odin Visser.
NomNom uses a sheer minimum of shape and material, yet does not lose any strength of expression. The round glass diffuser and the two slender aluminium spokes are reminiscent of a small rice ball lifted by chopsticks. The metallic stems are anodized in six colour hues; the glass is always white; structure, cable and ceiling rose are black. Because it was designed devoid of superfluous details, each element being functional and elegant, NomNom Light is a masterly example of the art of letting go.
Despite its very special pattern, the NomNom pendant light can be integrated in many contexts and furnishing styles, because its formal language is clear and timeless, the colour choice varied. Beside simple black, five vivid hues are possible that set extraordinary accents - whether used singly or forming a cheerful colourful group.
The light emitted by the integrated LEDs has a distinctive warm white colour temperature and a high colour rendering, spreads a cosy and natural light that is suitable for living rooms, for restaurants and for foyers and lounge areas.
NomNom Light is compatible with the Wireless Wall Switch by Moooi that enables a dimming of the light independently from the existing cables. It is available on request and against additional charge.
