About the Collection Moooi Flock of Light

The artful Flock of Light suspension by Moooi, developed in 2020 by Studio Toer, appears like a swarm of light. It is available in three sizes. At daytime, Flock of Light is an impressive design statement, and in the evening it turns into a bright light source.

Curved bronze wires curl and wind in all directions, connecting the numerous small LED light sources, which are contained within semi-transparent polycarbonate diffusers and held by brass capsules.

The light is characterized by an outstandingly warm colour temperature and a very high colour rendering for a natural appearance of all colour shades. The result is a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, which will be especially appreciated in living rooms, foyers and cafés. The delicate, nearly immaterial pendant lamp transforms every room with lively, sparkling light and fascinates with unimagined complexity, frailty and vitality, like the frozen movement of a whirling cloud of sparks.

The large Flock of Light 31 is compatible with the Wireless Wall Switch by Moooi, a device that allows to dim the lamp regardless of the wiring. It is available on demand and against additional charge.
