About the Collection Mawa Design Wittenberg 4.0 wi4-ab-3e


The LED lights Wittenberg 4.0 wi4-ab-3e by Mawa Design are spotlights for surface mounting with angular casing and three reflector heads. The collection belongs to the extensive Wittenberg product family designed by Jan Dinnebier. Its many variants allow for the most diverse lighting solutions for highest demands. This subcollection of threefold spotlights includes several models with various optical and light technical properties.

The standard spotlight wi-ab-3e has cylindrical light heads next to each other on the rectangular casing. wi4-ab-3e-hb has them semi recessed in the casing, while wi4-ab-3e-kb has them completely flush with the casing.

All models are available with three different illumination angles (12 degrees, 24 degrees or 38 degrees) and in a choice of several surfaces. The semi recessed and flush versions are optionally available with dim-to-warm function via Casambi control. The other models are conventionally dimmable with an external trailing-edge dimmer.

Casing and reflector heads are made of aluminium with black and white powder-painted surface. The heads are equipped with special lens units that guide the light efficiently in one direction and reduce its glare. High-quality integrated LEDs with especially warm white colour temperature and a very high colour rendering ensure a pleasant illumination that reproduces all colour hues naturally and exactly via the whole spectrum.

The reflector heads can be independently tilted from each other by 90 degrees and turned by 365 degrees, so that direct illumination downwards and lighting accents in every desired direction are possible.

All Mawa Witterberg threefold-spotlights are characterized by a compact design that relies on clear, geometrical shapes. The reflectors do not feature small visible screws and masterly demonstrate a minimalistic appearance. The flush and semi recessed models let the reflectors blend in with the casing and achieve a new, nearly monolithic aesthetics.

The Wittenberg LED spotlights are wonderfully suited to set specific lighting accents and brighten defined room areas, pictures and sculptures, shelves and presentation surfaces. The illumination angle must be selected according to the lighting task and the size of the area to be illuminated. Thanks to their universal design, the spotlights can be trouble-free integrated in every room and in existing illuminations. Combined with further spotlights of the Wittenberg collection, uniform, need-oriented lighting concepts for the private area, for public rooms and projects of any kind are created.

To create the most demanding lighting concepts, the Mawa Wittenberg threefold spotlights are also available with other properties. On request, cooler colour temperatures and individual RAL colours for reflectors and casing are available. What is more, the spotlights can be equipped with the most diverse accessories to modify their lighting effect. To choose from, there are honeycomb grids, shutters for reducing the glare, accessories for widening the illumination angle, special sculpture lenses and replacement lens units, if another illumination angle is desired afterwards. Special tools, useful to exchange accessory parts, are also available. For each lens unit, it is always possible to combine one accessory only.
