About the Collection Mawa Design Wittenberg 4.0 wi4-ab-1r

The LED lights Wittenberg 4.0 wi4-ab-1r by Mawa Design are compact spotlights for surface mounting with a single reflector head and a round shape. The collection belongs to the expansive Wittenberg product family, designed by Jan Dinnebier. There is a choice of three versions: the directable spotlight wi-ab-1r, the downlight wi-ab-1r-dl and the downlight wi4-ab-1r-dl-IP54 for bathrooms and wet rooms. All models are available with three different illumination angles (12 degrees, 24 degrees or 38 degrees) and in the colours black and white.

The light fixtures consist of powder-painted aluminium and are equipped with high-quality lens units that guide the light in one direction and reduce its glare. Depending on the illumination angle, they are precise spotlights or broad floodlights. The standard spotlight makes it possible to tilt the light head by 90 degrees and to turn it by 365 degrees, and for this reason, the light is guided in any desired direction. The downlights shine directly downwards and are immovable, yet have an unparalleled minimalistic appearance. Both models are devoid of visible screws and feature smooth surfaces and precise shapes without interruption from every angle of view.

High-quality integrated LEDs with especially warm white colour temperature of 2700K and an outstanding high colour rendering ensure a pleasant illumination suitable for living rooms of every kind. Thanks to their small size, the Wittenberg LED spotlights adapt to nearly every context and can serve for illuminating the smallest rooms, for emphasizing sculptures, pictures and shelves or to deliberately brighten specific room segments.

For lighting projects and special uses, the Mawa Wittenberg spotlights with other properties as the here offered are also available. On request, they are available with another choice of light colours and with surfaces in individual RAL colours.

With exception of the IP54 models, the light fixtures can also be equipped with separately available accessories to modify their lighting effect. You can choose from honeycomb grid, shutter to reduce the glare, attachment to enlarge the angle of illumination, special sculpture lenses and remplacement lens units. Special tools, helping to exchange the accessories, are also available. For one lens, always one attachment only can be combined.
