About the Collection Mawa Design Wittenberg 4.0 parkett
The LED floor lamps Wittenberg 4.0 Parkett are spotlights with compact dimensions that can be placed freely. Their reflectors, directable at will, can be equipped with separately available accessories to customize the lighting effect. The collection comprises three double spotlights with diverse illumination angles. The Wittenberg spotlights were designed by Jan Dinnebier and belong to an extensive product family for demanding lighting projects.
Light body and reflectors are made of powder-painted aluminium. The light body is shaped like a box on top of which the cylindrical reflector heads are placed in a semi-recessed installation. Depending on their position, they direct their light upwards or laterally. Besides, each reflector can be independently and continuously tilted up to 90 degrees and turned by 365 degrees.
The light heads do not feature visible screws and appear clear, precise and elegant from every angle. Their wide aluminium ring comes in the same colour as the light body. The heat sink, visible on the back depending on the position, is on the contrary black.
The reflectors themselves do not glare and direct their light as spotlight and escape light in the desired direction. The integrated LEDs are characterized by an outstanding colour rendering and an especially warm white colour temperature that create a cozy, pleasant illumination.
Both reflectors can be dimmed and switched separately. For this purpose, there is an unobtrusive integrated touch dimmer on each slender side of the casing. In this way, it is trouble-free possible, for example, to support an strong lighting accent with a soft background illumination or emphasize two wall areas with varied bright light.
The lighting effects can be modified with the aid of accessory parts in multifarious manners. The honeycomb grids to put on the light heads are directly comprised in the delivery. On request, shutters to reduce the spotlights' glare, special sculpture lenses and parts for widening the illumination angle are also available. If afterwards another illumination angle is wished as the one with which the acquired light model is usually equipped, the lens units can be bought separately and exchanged. Also special tools are available that facilitate the mounting and the exchange of the components.
For one lens unit, there is always an accessory part that can be combined.
Wittenberg Parkett enables to guide the electrical cable in two positions from the casing. For this purpose, the base features apertures on a narrow and on a broad side, through which the cable can be put. There is a foot switch for switching the whole light on and off on the electrical cable.
The converter is integrated.
