About the Collection Mawa Design Linestra

The wall and ceiling lamps Linestra by Mawa Design are the purest conceivable art of light showcasing. Small brick-shaped bases hold a Linestra linear lamp that is upgraded to a diffuser and most significant part of the light design. The collection comprises two models. Linestra 7 consists of a single base for S14d-lamp. The variation Linestra 7b is equipped with an additional clamp for fixing the lamp and can also serve as a ceiling lamp. The model Linestra 8 has two bases to be equipped with S14s linear lamps.

The brick-shaped bases are made of aluminium and finished with a powder-coating or a metallic cover. The different surfaces enable to adapt the light fixture to different surroundings and furnishing styles. Linestra 7 and 7b are, on request, available with individual special colours.

Above all the choice of the lamp is decisive. It defines the light fixtures final appearance and its light technical characteristics. Each light fixture can be equipped with Linestra lamps of different lengths. Also brightness, colour temperature, colour rendering and dimmability are ensured by an opaline white lamp bulb for diffuse illumination, while a clear bulb develops a completely characteristic lighting effect.

The wall lamps Mawa Linestra can be mounted singly or in rows, as light sources in narrow corridors, to flank a mirror, a door or a dresser. Their slender shape enable them to find room everywhere, while the length can be adapted to individual demands with the lamp. With the selection of the base, a harmonious integration in various colour schemes is possible.
