About the Collection Leucos Aurelia
The LED suspensions Aurelia by Leucos spread direct and indirect illumination with a surprising design. The collection comprises two lights with different shapes, available in several metallic and glass versions. The design is signed by Patrick Jouin.
The Aurelia lights consist of a metallic structure getting wider below and turning into a flat light shade. Diffusers embedded on the upper side and underside spread the light of the integrated LEDs in both directions. The glass diffuser surrounding the metallic structure and forming an harmonious bulge above the diffuser plate is an extraordinary design element. The upward directed, indirect light is enriched by unexpected light reflections, while a soft direct light shines downwards.
The integrated LEDs are characterized by a warm white colour temperature and a high colour rendering, spread a welcoming, natural light that is especially suitable for living spaces. The mixture of direct and indirect illumination stands the test above dining tables in living rooms, on counters and dressers. Both light fixtures in the collection have different widths and are suitable for tables of differend widths. They can also be combined, arranged in groups and rows to evenly illuminate larger surfaces. The light clusters are a fantastic eyecatcher, expressing individuality and appeal with classical materials, stylish colours and shapes and modern lighting technique.
