The LED wall lamp Gic by IP44.de is a stylish light source for exterior facades and above all next to house doors. The metallic frame is available in three neutral colour hues. The accent surface on the wall is customized with exchangeable covers, available in a choice of seven versions. The use of one cover is mandatory.

The cubic metallic frame is made of powder-painted cast aluminium. Its sides are open, with exception of the upper side and backside. The LEDs are integrated in the upper side and closed with satined glass, while the backside is equipped with a cover of stainless steel or brass. The light is blocked upwards and escapes all around from the metallic frame, illuminates the accent surface's back and the entire area around the light fixture.

The integrated LEDs have a colour temperature of 2700K. Their warm light spectrum is lesser perceived by nocturnal insects and for this reason is to a lesser extent disturbing for their orientation. Also the fact that the light does not escape upwards, but brightens only the area below the light fixture, contributes to a environmentally friendly illumination by reducing light pollution. At the same time, the warm light is also perceived as welcoming and pleasant by human beings. Wide, soft light cones are created on the house wall as well as a subtle shadow play by the slender side struts of the metallic frame.

Please, note that each Gic wall lamp requires a cover for its backside. These Gic covers are separately offered as accessories. On request, they are available with a foil covered number with max. 3 figures. For the cover in anthracite and black, light grey figures are used, while dark grey ones are used for the other versions. The covers can be exchanged anytime without tools to modify the appearance of the light fixture.

The Gic LED wall lamp is protected against wetness and dirt, and can be used on unsheltered house facades (protection index IP65).
