About the Collection IP44.de Eye

The LED wall lamp Eye by IP44.de casts light cones upwards and downwards on the facade. The collection comprises two wall lamps with or without motion detector and each available in two dark colour hues, adapted to many architectures. Its slender shape finds room everywhere. The design is signed by Klaus Nolting.

The slender brick-shaped body of powder-painted cast aluminium is closed on top and below with clear glass. The integrated LEDs' light is guided outside by especially shaped, black reflectors. The light sources are located so deep, that a possible glare by the light directed downwards is avoided. The Eye wall lamps are perfectly suitable as light source next to the house door or along paths and stairs. Especially the version with brightness and motion sensor is suitable for such uses because the light is automatically activated as soon as somebody comes next to it. The advantages, compared to light fixtures that are permanently operated, are a saving of energy and the reduction of light pollution outside. Also the very warm colour temperature of 2700K must be emphasized: warm white colour temperatures with fewer blue portions are lesser perceived by nocturnal insects and do not disturb their orientation. The Eye LED wall lamps provide an environmentally friendly illumination that is welcoming and pleasant for human beings.

The high protection index of IP65 demonstrates that the Eye wall lamps can be used on unsheltered house facades because they are sufficiently protected against water and dirt. A special alloy and a novel sealing technology of IP44.de make the Eye LED wall lamps very corrosion resistant.
