Created in 1984, YaYaHo was one of the first low-voltage lighting system for halogen reflector lamps. It was designed by Ingo Maurer and his team. By combining different elements arranged in various ways, YaYaHo opens up practically endless possibilities, and can be made to fit any room.
The basis of YaYaHo are two special ropes, spanning parallely from wall to wall across the room. Along the ropes, it is possible to arrange the single lighting elements at will. Thanks to lower tension technology, the single elements are directly supplied with current via the ropes. The result is a clear and discreet appearance, but also an uncomplicated handling.
Each lighting element differs in shape, material and lighting effect, but forms excellent combinations with the others. Each element can be adjusted sideways along the ropes and is partly height-adjustable. YaYaHo is made of metal, plastics, glass and porcelain.
The lighting system YaYaHo is powered by a transformer, reducing 230V to 12V. The delivery includes a cable-tautener and a drilling template.
