About the Collection Icone Salsola

The Salsola light fixtures by Icone were inspired by a plant called glasswort, a lower plant with thick nested branchs. Salsola is a ball made of intricated aluminium strips. The collection comprises wall and ceiling lamps, table and floor lamps and suspensions, models for inside and outside, and in a choice of sizes. The light is shaped like a ball, composed of thick woven, spiral-like, twisted metallic strips which are lacquered in white or brown. There is a diffuser of sanded glass inside.

Because the Salsola lights' spherical shades are mostly made by hand, their sizes can slightly vary.
