The diffuser of the light is opened at the base but is closed by a glass diffuser. That is the reason why the light does not glare and offers a pleasant illumination.
Ohio is available in two versions: in the version "Original" from cardboard in a natural colour, with a cable coated with black textile and a black powder-painted ceiling rose or in white with a white cable and a grey ceiling rose. On request: Ohio24 is deliverable with a 5 meters long cable.

About the Collection Graypants Scraplights
The Scraplights collection by Graypants consists of impressive and unusual pendant lights with a warm, cozy appearance and magical lighting effects, which are also made of environmentally friendly materials: recycled corrugated cardboard. The collection also includes a floor lamp and a table lamp.
All lights in the collection follow the same design principle and manufacturing process. Every lampshade looks fascinatingly complex because it is made up of several layers of corrugated cardboard. The different colour tones of the individual layers as well as the wave-like structure of the cross-section give it a varied, detailed appearance and make each lamp unique.
The individual corrugated cardboard rings are precisely laser cut. As a result, the light fixture has a somewhat burnt odor, which subsides over time. Graypants scraplights are manufactured with non-toxic glue and treated with a non-toxic fire retardant.
The individual Scraplights have different shapes: The shade of the Graypants Disc is a flat, elliptical sphere, Graypants Bell has a bell-shaped shade, Graypants Ausi has the elegant shape of a traditional Japanese lantern, the shape of the Graypants Moon is modeled on the celestial body that gives it its name, Graypants Drum has a classic cylindrical shade, Graypants Drop imitates a raindrop and Graypants Hive or Graypants Nest imitate beehive or wasp nests. The shade of the Graypants Ohio has a pleasantly curved, wide shape and the Arcturus is an oversized light object for very large rooms.
All lamps spread their light directly downwards and laterally diffusely into the room, which always creates a cozy atmosphere.
In the original version of the pendant lamps, the cable and canopy are black and in the white and blond version the cable is white and the canopy is grey.
Important notes: Graypants recommends using compressed air spray to clean the light fixtures. They may only be installed in dry indoor rooms, as moisture would be harmful to them. Only lamps recommended by the manufacturer may be used. It should also be ensured that there is sufficient distance between the diffuser and the light source.
