About the Collection Fabbian Lumi
With the Lumi lights for the Italian label, the designers Saggia & Sommella created a collection with elegant shades of white satined glass in many different sizes and shapes. The satined glass surface of every Fabbian Lumi light provides pleasant, diffuse light. Because of its minimalistic design, Lumi adapts to every furnishing style. Especially the small versions create a mysterious note, because they are similar to crystal balls.
The Lumi Baka wall lamps, ceiling lamps, table lamps, floor lamps and suspensions' well-balanced diffuser shines modernity and elegance. The glass shade's shape is not a simple ball, but is elongated with a downwards wider becoming diameter. The ceiling rose or in other words the structure is made of white lacquered metal or glassfibre reinforced polyester. The swung cable between ceiling rose and diffuser lends the suspension Lumi Baka a weightless appearance.
Lumi Mochi by Fabbian also has an especially harmonious shape. It consists of a glass body, seemingly a ball, yet flattened and with the appearance of a Japanes rice cake "Mochi" after which the light fixture is named.
The Lumi Poga suspensions, wall or ceiling lamps have a wider, yet similar shape to the Lumi Mochi and Lumi Baka lights. The Lumi Poga suspension gives the impression of a light paper lantern, and creates an Asian appeal in the room.
Lumi Mycena has an organic, asymmetrical shape, which is reminiscent of a mushroom. Because of the attractive material and rounded, harmonious shapes, Lumi Mycena seems modern and unobtrusive.
The Lumi Sfera lights have the same shape as classical ball-shaped lights. The suspension is available in six sizes and suitable for various uses, ranging from the illumination of single round tables to a use in large rooms with high ceilings. Also the Sfera table lights are available in several sizes and are therefore suitable for versatile uses for example on tables, sideboards or even on the floor.
The different light fixtures in the Fabbian Lumi collection are not only interessant as single lights, but offer captivating visual hightlights, especially when combined with others.
