Bruno Rainaldi

Bruno Rainaldi, who was born in 1952 in Milan, was already in charge of strategic communication for product design in his early years and quickly became a partner at Enrico Baleri's agency. Bruno Rainaldi founded the studio Rari in the mid-eighties and was its creative director for some years. Rainaldi has worked with many Italian top design companies like Slamp, Opinion Ciatti, Terzani and Mussi. Rainaldi created the collection Ceremony for the Italian brand Slamp, and Ortenzia and Magdalena for Terzani.

He designed a special series of design objects with extraordinary novel shapes with an artistic appeal for the company CCR design in 2002. The Ptolomeo vertical book column is part of this collection, named Moco, and is one of Bruno Rainaldi's most excellent creations. The book shelf even won an ADI Compasso d'Oro in 2004. He opened a showroom named Entratalibera with Marta Giardini in Milan in 2002, displaying and selling art objects and design products. The same year, the talented designer started teaching at the Academy Brera in Milan as a design professor.

That he acquired his extensive knowledge of furniture and product design through work alone, without formal studies, is proof of his exceptional talent.

Bruno Rainaldi died on February 24, 2011.
