The LED table lamp For You by Catellani & Smith is a delicate object shaped like a flower. The stalk can be shaped at will and the brightness is adjustable via a dimmer on the base.

The diffuser is made of rice paper with a clearly visible, irregular fibre structure. The single petals overlap and ensure soft gradients between light and dark when the light is on. The thin light stalk is wrapped in blue textile and is similar to the also blue electrical cable. There is a touch dimmer serving to switch the light on and off or continuously dim it on the square brass base.

The amber-coloured LED circuit board ensures an illumination that is as warm and soft as candle light. Its rather lesser brightness means that For You is less a light source and more a decorative object. Its soft, warm light puts the light fixture itself to the fore, enhances its petals' structure and gives it a orange golden glow.
