About the Collection Bover Platet
Simple shapes that are familiar to us, which comfort us and allow us to travel through time: Designer Christophe Mathieu had this idea when designing the Platet lights launched in 2021 for Bover. Translate the old into the new, arouse nostalgia and implement modern technology.
The platet collection appeals with an industrial look, a clear, sober basic principle paired with warm shade colours for a certain cosiness. All Platet lights, which are available as wall lights and pendant lights, are made entirely of aluminum, iron and brass. The inside of the shade is always painted white. The characteristic lampshade is the same for all models and comes with a classic, conical shape. Platet is optionally equipped with a screw base for conventional E14 lamps or has integrated LEDs.
Bover Platet can be ordered as an outdoor wall light with IP66 and enchants outdoor seating with atmospheric light. Platet A/05 and Platet A/06 are wall lights with filigreed, long light rods that are reminiscent of street lights. They are designed for wall outlets or they are equipped with an electrical cable. As an indoor wall lamp, it illuminates corridors or passageways; as a pendant lamp, it offers wonderful lighting above dining tables and counters.
