The Tolomeo Lettura reading lights by Artemide provide directable reading light with an easy-on-the-eye back illumination. The collection comprises a floor lamp for E27 lamps and one with integrated LEDs
The light fixtures are made of aluminium and follow the classical Tolomeo design with a double arm structure, a conical light head and a flexible adjustment thanks to joints and spring balancer system. The arms are especially long, so that the light fixtures can be placed on the floor next to a bed or a couch. The light beam can be accurately directed and offers a perfect reading light, not least because of the additional light emission on the head's back which reduces the contrast between light and dark with a smooth indirect illumination, thus providing a pleasant atmosphere.
