The Patroclo table lamp by Artemide was designed in 1975 by the architect and designer Gae Aulenti. Thanks to its metallic net surrounding the glass body, the table lamp produces a magical play of light and shadow. During the manufacturing process, the glass is blown directly in the metallic envelop in order to blend in with it and form a perfect unity.
The Patroclo table lamp is inspired by the Patroclus depicted in the Greek mythology, Achille's friend. The light emitted by Patroclo is very pleasant and creates a special flair in the room. In the living room, whether on a sideboard or a side table, it creates a pleasant ambient lighting.
